This episode starts out with the story of Cinderella. Her fairy godmother turns up, but before she even turns Cinderella into a princess, the fairy godmother is blown up by Rumpelstiltskin because he wants her wand. Cinderella asks him to help her, but of course he says only if she does him a favor. She agrees and she signs a document to make it official. He turns her clothes into a ball gown with glass slippers, just like the real story of Cinderella.
Back in Storybrooke, Emma walks Henry to the bus and after he leaves, the Sheriff comes and thanks her for finding the coma patient and offers her a job as a deputy. She at first can't make a decision and he asks her to at least think about it.
Emma goes to the coffee shop and the mayor comes in saying that she isn't worried about Emma anymore since she has had seven addresses in the last decade. To the mayor it seems like Emma will leave soon because she is never in a place for too long. Emma knocks her coffee on her and asks the waitress if there is a laundry room she could use.
Emma goes into the room and there is a maid there. The maid is pregnant and the baby is supposed to come soon, but nobody thinks she will be able to do it all once the baby comes. Emma tells the maid that she just has to prove them wrong and be the best she can be.
The scene changes to Mr. Gold, who is locking up his store. The maid appears moments later and breaks into his shop, going to a safe in the back. Suddenly, Mr. Gold reappears, asking her what she is doing. In response, she sprays him with pepper spray and he falls back, smacking his head into oblivion. It is revealed that he has something of value to her that she has stolen back.
The mayor leaves the house and tells Henry that he can't, but once she leaves he runs to Emma. Mr. Gold comes to Mary's house where Emma is staying and asks for her help in locating an Ashley Boyd, who we discover is the maid she met earlier in the laundry room. He tells her that Ashley has taken something of value from him and he wants it back. Emma says that she will help him locate her, all the while considering really helping her.
In the Fairytale World, Cinderella gets married to her Prince Charming. Snow White attends and tells Cinderella this just proves that anybody can change their life. Rumpelstiltskin is there as well and asks her if she got everything she wanted. Cinderella answers that she did and asks what he wants in return. He tells her what he wants is her firstborn child. She finds out later that she is pregnant; she tells her Prince Charming and he says they will make another deal with him to overpower this deal.
Cinderella and the Prince Charming go and see Rumpelstiltskin in the jail. Their plan is to make him sign with a quill that causes the person who uses to freeze. She tells him that she is having twins and is going to give up both in exchange for him helping the crops of their Kingdom. He signs with the quill and he becomes frozen. Thomas, Cinderella's husband, goes missing after Rumpelstiltskin is arrested. She goes and talks to Rumpelstiltskin and he says that she won't see him until she gives her baby to him.
In Storybrooke, Emma and Henry go looking for the maid; they ask Ruby the waitress and she tells them a little about her history. Ruby tells the two of them to try her ex. They go to the ex's house and his dad says that someone is paying Ashley money for the baby. Emma comes to the conclusion that Mr. Gold is the one paying for the child. They go back to the diner and Emma realizes that Ruby's car is gone and that Ashley has it, giving her a head start out of Storybrooke.
Emma leaves to go help Ashley and Henry is in the back seat waiting for Emma. The car Ashley was driving is crashed on the side of the road, and she is in the grassy area outside of the car going into labor. They drive to the hospital and she has a healthy six-pound baby girl.
Mr. Gold comes in and thanks Emma for getting his merchandise. Emma decides to make a deal with Mr. Gold so Ashley can keep her child. Mr. Gold agrees that she can owe him a favor. Ashley names the baby Alexandra. Moments later, Shawn, Ashley's ex, comes to the hospital to see his daughter and brings her something as well.
Emma drives Henry home before his mom finds out that he was gone and Emma calls the Sheriff's office and takes the deputy job. We find out at the end that the Mayor is having an affair with the Sheriff of the town.
ABC's "Once Upon A Time" comes on at 8 p.m. on Sunday nights. Keep watching, it keeps getting better and better.
