Farmville workers are beginning construction at the Prince Edward/ Farmville Youth Association Field of Dreams Complex that is only one part of a bigger, long-term plan, reported The Farmville Herald. Workers have alreadyseededthefive fields, and before this spring’s baseball season begins, there will most likely be a new entrance at West Third St./460, a parking lot and new bleachers, among other changes. The master plan will amount to approximately $5 million, said Town Manager Gerald Spates during January’s Town Council meeting. Spates is hoping to find funding partners to help fund the sports complex.
