In reaction to the complications created due to the library, three academic department buildings, and Stubbs residential hall closing after losing power and water on Tuesday morning, Longwood students took to social media to express their concerns and reactions to the news.
The major water line break occurred on the second day of final exam week for the university causing limited study space for students.
The Rotunda collected some of the tweets sent by Longwood students expressing a range of views.

People are acting like the water main break was something Longwood planned for. Shit happens people. You'll live I promise

Other areas on campus have responded to the outage issues by opening to give students space aside from the library to study.
Lots of study space in Grainger today for students affected by the library closing. We'd love to have you. @longwoodu
