Crimson Folly
Spirited Ingredients:
- ½ glass of champagne
- ½ glass of cranberry juice
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz of grenadine
- 1 star anise pod
Virgin Ingredients:
- ½ glass of ginger ale
- 1 oz grenadine
- 1 oz lemon juice
- ½ glass of cranberry juice
- 1 star anise pod
*If you prefer not to use the star anise as a garnish, use simple syrup to line the glass rim and cover with gold or red sprinkles
Steps
- Add the lemon juice and swirl to coat the glass
- Add the cranberry juice
- Slowly add in the champagne (tilt the glass to keep it from over flowing)
- If making the virgin drink, add the ginger ale
- Add grenadine by ladling it in with a spoon
- Add the star anise pod for a garnish floating on the drink
