Denise Martin was declared missing to Virginia Beach law enforcement on June 19, 2018. Police are currently searching the VA Beach, Redmill and Hampton Roads areas.
According to Miriam Loya, friend of Martin, Martin was last seen between 7-8am on June 19, 2018 in the Redmill area. Her phone, keys, wallet, and car were left behind and she has not been seen or heard from since.
Martin is 22 years old, 5”3’, 150-160 lbs, with medium length brown hair and black oval glasses. She most likely has a green fanny pack or a brown over the shoulder bag with her. She also has a sun tattoo on the left side of her chest.
Martin is an alumni of Longwood University, having just graduated in 2018 with a theatre arts degree.

A search party will be conducted June 20, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at 904 Infanta Circle, Virginia Beach, VA, according to Loya.
"The family has chosen not to release a statement at this time," Loya told The Rotunda.
