Anonymuz is a rapper who hails from Broward County, Florida. While he is not well know, he has been putting out work since 2012. His most recent EP “Urameshi” showed some incredible talent and how demonstrated he can fit in today’s era of rap. Now he’s released “There Is No Threat,” his second studio album. It's a great album with some very good features that compliment him well. He also produces some of the good sounding tracks on the album.

“Sun Down” starts the album with a dark type of beat that builds up to an amazing trap beat. Anonymuz’s flow on this track is pretty impressive, especially when the beat switches into a bass heavy type. His energy on this track is unique as he switches from a chill persona to an aggressive and gritty artist. It’s a great opener to the album and is also one of the best songs on it.

“Feel So Good Pt2” porvides this comfortable and rythmic beat, with Anonymuz talking about how he feels good even though others are hating on him. He sings on this track as well, which sounds okay in the context of this album. While the beat is very calm, he is still bringing an aggressive tone, like in the second part of “Sun Down”. At first it doesn’t sound good, but it becomes catchy towards the end.

“818” introduces another slow trap beat while Anonymuz is rapping about his upbringing and how he got here to this moment. While he does give a good lyrical performance, he also produced the beat on this track, which sounds amazing over his gritty delivery.

“Primal” is an interesting song. Anonymuz raps over a loud and overwhelming beat that matches the theme of the song.  His delivery is very aggressive especially when he brings up these violent topics around his area. Then it switches into trap beat that uses elements of the previous beats to make the song sound precise

“Smoke” is a braggadocios song where Anonymuz flexes on his haters while rapping over a smooth trap beat. He puts his friend The Black Hokage, a Twitch Streamer and Youtuber, in the song to assist him with bragging about his success and how his haters don’t stack up to him. This song is very entertaining and is definitely a breath of fresh air from the rest of the album’s dark tone.

“Zion” comes in to lighten the mood with its heavy bass and up-tempo instrumentals. On this track, Anonymuz provides a lot of energy and does a good job flowing well with the track. It switches into a mumble-rap style beat with Swerzie rapping over it. It is amazing how well he complements Anonymuz and it will be interesting to see if they have any tracks together in the future.

“Rxdical Forever” is the lead single on this album and it starts with an amazing beat drop after the song introduces an airy instrumental. Similar to "Primal," Anonymuz’s delivery is very aggressive and it matches the overall tone of the song very well. There is another beat switch in this song that adds another layer to it, making it another solid track on this album.

“No Threat” closes the album with a feature from Florida native Denzel Curry. Anonymuz starts the track by rapping with an instrumental until the bass comes in. Then he switches his flow to match the vibe of the song. Curry follows with the best feature by matching the song’s theme while not overshadowing Anonymuz. These artists show great chemistry, and they should definitely collab again.

Overall, this album is definitely a banger, and Anonymuz shows his musical growth from his early years. From producing his own beats to his lyrical performance, everything seems effortless on this album. The only problem is the beginning, with its slow build. However, it is shadowed by this amazing performance by Anonymuz. 4.5/5
