After opening in 1994, Main Street Lanes has remained one of the most entertaining places in town because it provides a plentiful amount of activities students can participate in.
There are 24 bowling lanes open each and every day. Not looking to bowl? They also have the largest arcade in the Town of Farmville.
On Tuesdays, college students can bowl for $5 on an all you can bowl basis with a valid student identification.
Main St. Lanes also provides homemade food to its customers. Their
Homemade BBQ and chili are just a few of the popular items on their menu. Takeout options are also available for those looking to satisfy their hunger on the go.
Manager Wendy Boettcher said business at the bowling alley increases when students are back from break and their employees enjoy having the students' presence.
The deals and food keep students coming back as it's a great hang-out spot for people
of all ages and also hosts bowling league tournaments and teams.
Located at 2006 South Main Street in Farmville, Main St. Lanes is open a variety of hours throughout the week, mainly closing at midnight on weekdays and 1 a.m. on weekends.
