First reported by VerbalCommits.com, and further confirmed by Longwood athletics, men's basketball forward Jordan Cintron has entered the transfer portal.
Entering the portal is not a gurantee that Cintron will transfer out of the program, but the decision does allow him to seek other opportunities and have contact with other schools, according to Assistant Vice President of Athletics Communications, Chris Cook.
The Bronx, N.Y. native came to Longwood in the 2017-18 season, while the program remained under the leadership of former head coach Jayson Gee, and saw his production increase each year since then, from averaging 2.4 points per game in his freshman season, to 6.2 in his junior campaign.
