We have been under quarantine for roughly one month now and the thought is almost chilling that there is no clear end in sight. People are learning new ways to cope with this new lifestyle, to earn money, to connect with people and to enjoy their hobbies. Now, with hobbies, everyone is exploring new things and learning more about themselves. Even during all of this, we are finding ways to show what we love to do, and this is no different for the Arts.

When someone says Art, most people go right to the idea of a painting on a wall or a sculpture in a museum, but we are talking about all forms of Art. We are talking about movies, museums, performing arts, singing, and many more. Now, while the Theatre world has come to a screeching halt, almost every form of art has found a way to continue to thrive. With everyone locked down, artists from all over including Tituss Burgess, Steve Martin, Neil Diamond have been continuing to perform to the best of their abilities in order to keep everyone’s spirits up. We, as a society, have found multiple ways to keep going and explore the world, right from your own home.

People can now view museums from all around the world such as the British Museum held in London, Guggenheim Museum in New York City, Musee d’Orsay in Paris, and even the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. Anyone can now go and view these museums for free at any time from the comfort of their home. There are also online concerts going on. Musicians from all over have performed from either closed off stages or their own homes to give people the live music they deserve. All different kinds of shows are being played for all different kinds of music lovers including Country, Rock, Rap, Hip-hop, Jazz, and even instrumental concerts. Many websites are either hosting or holding their own. Anyone can just look up online concerts and many websites pop up with plentiful sources of endless entertainment.

Even through all this chaos, we are still finding ways to enjoy life to its fullest. In fact, since this has started, we have found more ways to explore all over the globe by just clicking a button. With the arts community, we are truly at home together.
