In this week’s Student Government Association (SGA) meeting, the Senate discussed the Citizen Leader Awards, and Treasurer Claire Lesman announced that there will be a Student Finance Committee (SFC) meeting this week.
In Announcements, Freshman Class Representative Gabrielle Selhorst announced that Elwood’s Cabinet is open on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
In the Adviser’s Report, Dean Cheryl Steele emphasized the importance of nominating peers for the Citizen Leader Awards. The form was sent to students in an e-mail, and the QR code is in the bios of the SGA social media accounts.
Also, in the Adviser’s Report, Dr. Tim Pierson warned students of inclement weather that will be heading to campus on Thursday and urged students to be safe.
In the Treasurer’s Report, Claire Lesman announced that there will be a Student Finance Committee (SFC) meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 18 on Zoom. She added that budget sessions are being held this week, with more information on Lancer Link.
The next SGA meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 23 at 3:45 p.m. on Zoom.
